Important information

Feb 09, 2011 - 12:21 PM - by [DI]I|Cpl.Dren

AToW is going to get fired up again. Barmy has recovered from chemo and his bout with cancer and is ready to code again. Goshie, Barmy, Dren, VM, and others are working to get this off the ground. Would like for all former players to dust off those uniforms and come join us on Sunday's.

Goshie has built a mission called Advance The Flag or ATF. Its a well coded mission, you do exactly like the name says, advance your flag. Green rectangle is the scoring zone, you have bases at each end of rectangle. The closer you go to your players base determines how fast your scoring clock advances. Each time a players dies you loose a point, when your flag is defeated and returned to base you lose the scoring speed you once had, you still score but at a much slower rate then a flag in the zone. At the end of battle the team with most points wins the day. That's a quick summary. This mod can be moved from island to island with out delays in playing times. So you could play several different islands during a campaign.

AToW is using SIX updater which has been gone over by VM and works great. It uses different patching technique instead of downloading huge files on updates it only installs the changes not the complete file all for better game play, and saving tons of download time and size of downloads. It is the best launcher I have seen much better then Yoma IMO.

AToW would like for you to help and see what you think. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated. You have a lot of knowledge about mission building and or game play and we need some peeps to test this and give us feed back on how you would make it better. Give us a shout or just stop by and say hello, we are looking forward to what you have to say.
